Frequently Asked Questions

Logistics

  • Where are Blighthouse Events located?

All of our seasonal events, from family friendly to high octane haunts, are located at Meadows Family Farm in Maple Ridge, BC. Please check your specific ticket for information on parking.

  • Is parking available on site?

Yes! We have a dedicated parking lot available at Meadows Family Farm. Parking spots can fill up fast on peak holidays like Halloween and Christmas, however. We recommend carpooling and arriving 20 minutes before your time slot to ensure theres room for your vehicle.

  • What happens if it rains?

Blighthouse events run rain or shine! While we are located on a farm, many of our key attractions and queues are protected by massive weatherproof commercial event tents. That said, you will still be walking on farmland, so please dress appropriately and wear boots if it is raining. If weather warnings risk creating an unsafe environment for guests and staff, then the event will be postponed and ticket holders wil be promptly informed and given instructions for rescheduling.

  • Are the grounds wheelchair and stroller accessible?

The family events are generally accessible by wheelchair and stroller, though the terrain still consists of packed dirt and gravel. For our high-intensity haunted events, it is designed to be narrow and dark, making it unsuitable for strollers and mobility devices.

Tickets & Policies

  • How do you keep the "Haunted Events" separate from the "Family Events"?

This is something we take very seriously. Our daytime family events and haunted events are completely separated by operational schedules and physical barriers. Our haunted events with mature themes are featured in the evening, where childrens haunted halloween, and other family events would take place during the day between the morning and late afternoon.

  • Can I buy tickets at the gate?

We strongly recommend buying tickets online in advance. Our nighttime haunts operate on timed-entry slots to ensure the best possible experience for participants, and they frequently sell out. On our slower weekday nights, we encourage people to pay at the gate since we offer discounts if you bring food donations for our local food drive collaboration. Slower nights will be stated on the event calendars. Purchase at the gate is subject to capacity and may not be guaranteed on hot nights.

  • Will there be food and drinks available?

Absolutely! Our events feature a food truck and concession stand with a variety of delicious comfort foods, specialty treats, mini donuts, and drinks. Please note that for the safety of all our participants and staff that our events are strictly alcohol-free.

  • What are your refund policies?

All ticket sales are final. Because our events are highly seasonal and operate on limited capacity, we cannot offer refunds for no shows, or other personal reasons. In the event of a weather cancellation on our side, we may be able to offer refunds, but encourage rescheduling your tickets instead.
