Our Story
We aim to provide high quality events at an affordable price to both families and adults. With collaborating and participating in agritourism alongside Meadows Family Farm, we take Canadian agriculure very seriously. Every event we put on has soil health and agricultural preservation in the first position. On top of our agri-cultural efforts, our goals are to provide peak entertainment for all demographics with our extensive event management experience. Blighthouse events are a place where people can feel comfortable, scared out of their mind, joyous, or terrified. We offer experiences anyone can come and enjoy.
The team here at Blighthouse are lifelong horror fanatics, winter lovers, and haunted attraction professionals. In part with knowing all the building blocks for a good event, we also put a heavy emphasis on making sure our events hold the utmost safety standards so everyone can rest easy as they enter our gates. Or in the case of our haunted events, not rest easy for multiple days, but in a way that is safe and grounded! (Even if it doesnt feel like it in the moment.)
The Founders
Liam Marshall
Liam is an operational and creative leader with 8 years of experience in the events industry. Having trained and managed over 50 actors, he excels in high-intensity production and event logistics. Beyond Halloween, his deep expertise spans year-round seasonal festivals, allowing him to expertly optimize crowd-flow and craft seamless guest experiences for any demographic.
Jordan Koop
Jordan is a technical lead specializing in site infrastructure and outdoor event production. With 8 years in the events industry and over a decade of construction experience as a carpenter and painter, he oversees the rapid deployment of large-scale Haunt and Winter setups. His multi-disciplinary background ensures that every seasonal event is built on a foundation of safe, code-compliant, and highly efficient structures.
About The Farm
We're very proud to be hosting our events at the beloved Meadows Family Farm. For years their family has set the gold standard for agritourism in Maple Ridge. We highly encourage all guests of Blighthouse Events to check out the wonderful experiences Meadows Family Farm offers year round for family in the Fraser Valley. They have numerous cute animals for you to feed and spend time with, a beautiful U-pick flower garden, a vibrant easter weekend festival, and much more to entertain everyone!
